The truck was quickly filled...the truck bed, the backseat, and the front all overflowing with vegetales y personas. We didn't even make it to the other farms and instead, had to return to Antigua with our wonderful, bountiful, vivid collection. The children at Dreamer Center grew excited as they watched us unload almost 40 crates of vegetables. Overall, it was a very chill day. Very Guate.
Today, I got to ride into Guate (always sketch), visit an agricultural plant(?), and collect thousands of vegetables that were to be donated to God's Child (Nuestros Ahijados). Seriously, I have never seen more carrots (zanahorias), zucchinis (cabacines), and yellow beans (ejotes). I should've taken more pictures but I was doing my fair share of heavy lifting and loading...
