I'm still catching up from the weekend (blogwise) and on Sunday morning, a half marathon took place here in Antigua. Katsuya, the Japanese archaeologist who is here studying spanish before heading to Tikal for two years, ran the epic race along the cobblestoned roads among countless other runners. He was quick. So quick in fact that we all missed snapping a picture of him! Still, rapido, rapido, rapido...it was an exciting way to start the day.
Felipe, my Guate hermano, enjoys his super, duper supreme breakfast at Dona Louisa.
Seriously, the food here is DANK. SUCCULENT. DELICIOSO.
Following the half marathon, breakfast, and exploring Antigua on Sunday morning, Clara, Gayle and I left for Earth Lodge, a mountain lodge and avocado farm in the highlands just north of Antigua.
