Chichicastenango

On Sunday, I rejoined my Tikal buddy, Katy, on yet another adventure. As coincidence would have it, I was still suffering from a lovely parasite and it seems that I am ALWAYS SICK when with Katy. Nonetheless, we bravely boarded a shuttle (jk...it was totally safe and full of gringos this time) and took a 2.5 hour bus ride to CHICHICASTENANGO! Try saying that 10 times fast :) Nickname: Chichi, the town is known for its ridiculously HUGE market days on Sundays and Thursdays. Besides getting our shop on and obsessing over parrots at a nearby hotel, not much happened...
