Suitcase, Trunk, Suitcase, Suitcase

So much of today was spent packing for college. That sentence doesn't sound very exciting, but ohhh trust me, the action itself is pretty. . .zestful? Rip-roaring? An allusion to a grade A adventure. Blasted Kanye's new song power and proceeded to fill a trunk, and three suitcases with clothes. Mind you, one suitcase is for Camp Texas so it's separate. But sadly, yes, my clothes do fill three large pieces of baggage. Shoes not even yet included. I am partly embarrassed because I realize how much I have. How some pieces of clothing still have price tags and this vest or that shirt has only been worn once.

1. Just the beginning 2. I have never done laundry before. Ever. Hence the helpful hints left by my mom. (reminder to mom: I'm going to college, not first grade) 3. The piles keep growingg

This pile was at least a foot high before I started folding and rolling. At least the Honduras soccer jersey is making it to college :)

So it's just down to two more days. Friday & Saturday. I need to see as many people as possible within the next forty eight hours. I'm already missing everybody; my younglife girls, the brat pack, merlypearly, kmooremoney, mdpc kidz, my fellow gaga girl, etc. I'm coping by watching episode after episode of Top Chef DC.
Dry Rubbed Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Asparagus, Smoked Bacon Hazelnut Vinaigrette
“Creole Style” Crab Cake Eggs Benedict with Asparagus & Bacon Potato Hash in Hollandaise
Sea Scallops with Ricotta Gnudi & Broccoli Rabe

That's right. Coping.
