El Mercado

"Mark Twain once said there are only four unique cities in America: Boston, New Orleans, San Francisco and San Antonio." Today I would argue that Austin also deserves to make the cut, but nonetheless, there you see the name of San Antonio. Today was our last day, we woke up early and checked out, then headed back toward home. BUT FIRST, we made our traditional last stop at El Mercado where we shop (something new for us!), eat at Mi Tierra and buy mexican pastries from the bakery. My favorite part is probably the restaurant and the bakery because the food is always amazing and they are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Time to be creative I guess!
