IT'S 8:19 AND OU STILL SUCKS

So a lot has happened lately in my life. Friday, September 24th, I went to Fiji Foam where I celebrated my birthday and also lost my camera and phone to the foam monster. Goodbye pictures of birthday celebration. Goodbye connection to the world. Lesson learned: foam is dangerous. Ruins your clothes, eats your items so. . .hide yo kids, hide yo wife, hide yo husband cause it's stealing errbody.

Then Tuesday, I'm sure you heard about it, there was a masked gunman on campus. "19-year-old sophomore fired several shots inside the Perry Castaneda Library on the UT campus Tuesday morning" Luckily I live off campus so I was a good distance away from all the drama. Also, luckily, no one else was seriously injured.

Then a younglife small group sleepover Thursday night at an amazing house nestled in the Austin hills overlooking downtown, the UT campus, and Lake Austin. Then the weekend quickly arrived and Friday tons of UT student were suddenly Dallas-bound. Red River Shootout, here we come!! A cooler full of gatorade & soda, a suitcase overpacked with burnt orange and party dresses, and a basket prepared to battle late night hunger. Rundown: five hour crazy bus ride to Dallas, crashing at the hotel, Texas State Fair, Big Tex, TX vs OU game, late night at Encore, then bus ride back home on Sunday. Really, truly, a fabulous weekend.
