Self Critique:
I greatly enjoyed shooting with my new lens, a 35 mm fixed lens with a 1.8 f stop, during the depth of field assignment. I love the glowy portraits I can obtain by letting in an excess amount of light. During the assignment however, I came down with a stomach virus that limited my chances for shooting. Therefore, there is little variety as far as location and even subject. Overall, this assignment required constant adjustment of both shutter speed and aperture, causing the necessity to be “on my toes.” Even just by adjusting the focal length, the aperture would increase or decrease and then, the shutter speed would require attention. Some difficulty I faced, aside from my sickness, was the lack of clarity that only a tripod could provide. Quickly realizing this, I began to carry my Gorilla Pod around at all times. In terms of photos, I wish I had been more creative and that I had a better set of outtakes to choose from. The assignments still felt chore-like, but I need to step out of that mindset.

I guess this post is a bit somber, but....
1. It is officially OU Weekend.
2. I am DTOWN BOUND!
3. It is 10:34 and OU still sucks.
